30 Years Strong!

Warranty Administration Services Ltd 30 YearsIt’s almost Spring time everyone! A time of year for all things new, and positive forward thinking! This month of February also marks the 30th Birthday of Warranty Administration Services Ltd! Yes you are reading that correctly, today is the company’s 30th Birthday!

1984 to 2014. A period of time that has seen the company grow and evolve. We have welcomed new faces, and seen long-standing customer relationships blossom. We have moved premises and even locales in that time from the dizzy heights of Manchester, to the historic City of Lincoln which has been our home since 1989.
8911161642_c6347d6a5f_oV2As a company always dedicated to providing the latest and most up to date technologies for our customers, we have endured and survived the frustrations of early day computing! Some of us fondly remember the hardships of storing data on “analogue tape drives”, and waiting hours for reports to be processed on our Pentium 286s!

It’s been a long journey, and even though the company has changed in appearance, everything you see today has been built upon the success of products like the “self funded warranty” which we pioneered in 1984.

Yes, WAS has evolved over time, but the dedication, enthusiasm, and belief in our product solutions remains as strong as it did in those exciting infant years in the 80’s. This is a testament to the design, transparency, and simplicity of our product range which to this day, continues to bring success and profit to our friends across the motor trade.

Thank you for reading.

Going Green!

Carbon Concious Logo

Yes! We are going green! Here at Warranty Administration Services Limited, we are committed to leading our industry in minimising the impact of its activities on the environment.

The key points of our “Carbon Conscious” strategy to achieve are to:

• Minimise waste by evaluating operations and ensuring they are as efficient as possible.

• Minimise toxic emissions through the selection and use of its fleet and the source of its power requirement.

• Actively promote recycling both internally and amongst its customers and suppliers.

• Source and promote a product range to minimise the environmental impact of both production and distribution.

• Meet or exceed all the environmental legislation that relates to the Company.

• Off-set the greenhouse gas emissions generated by our activities through contributing to local green charities.

To negate our emissions in the year 2013 we have donated a sum of money to Hill Holt Wood a local charity involved in child education through forestry work to cover the cost of planting enough new trees to fully off-set the companies carbon footprint.
